Kari Wuhrer is an American actress, is well famous for her role as the lead in the popular TV show "Sliders". As of 1999, the actress debuted her debut album on the studio, Shiny. Her birthplace was Connecticut Wuhrer started singing while she was young and would perform in nightclubs when she was in her teens. At the age of 2000, Wuhrer began her acting studies in Wooster School. Wuhrer debuted on screen in 1986 with the romantic-drama movie 'Fire with Fire. She debuted on the small screen with an acting role 5 years later as the character Joanie in the sitcom of Fox "Married... with Children'. Through her over three decades, she's amassed about 80 credits in films as well as television. She's appeared in numerous mainstream movies, but most people consider her to be the B-movie Queen due to her vast filmography. She is also a former model and an former MTV VJ. In 2001, she won an award for the Best Actress Award for her comedy film Do It for Uncle Manny' at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival.
