Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress, best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. In 1957, she launched her first album of music called It's time for Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success, and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. At the time, she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. The actress joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her career across Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious roles as opposed to her perception as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has gained recognition as a director on several famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex August 28th, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto for her early years. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
